One of the most glaring issues with the NYT article is that they keep talking about the "teenage girl" that the based stickman called a commie. There is extensive video footage of the event online, he was yelling at Naya Rivera and Heather Morris. They are 30 year old actresses famous for being in "Glee." Heather gave her name to New York Daily News who published the false age of 19, as well as her claim of being brown, when she is blatantly white, though her best friend, Naya, is brown. I find it appalling that these mainstream "news" sources either didn't google her name or intentionally mislead readers. If they googled her name, the age of these women is readily available. How do you repeatedly call a grown woman a "teenage girl"?
The article admits that one of the women knocked an old lady down. However, they mislead readers as if it happened during the rally. It actually happened when people were leaving. I was not able to find footage of the knockdown, but the extensive footage covered the stickman yelling at them. I also heard from someone from the rally that yes, the girls giving dirty looks and flipping people off all throughout the rally were the ones that shoved the old lady. The actresses were even laughing as the police had to actually push the actresses out of the area, as you can clearly see on video footage.
Also, calling a communist a commie is not violent. The proof that Morris and Rivera were representing the communist party is extensive. These women, plus director John Peter Kousakis, were the ones leading the communist group. You can see on the video they were leading the chants.Firstly, someone overheard Morris state that her group was affiliated with CPUSA or Communist Party USA. Maybe someone lied? Fair enough, the very signs they were holding had the antifa symbol on them and a website. Not only is antifa about militant support for communism, but the website clearly endorses communist ideology. Is that not enough proof? Other websites represented on their signs and clothing included http://peoplespowerassemblies.org/, https://refusefascism.org/ and BA speaks. How come no mainstream media is talking about the insane post-cold war communism?
Those aren't the only beefs that I have with the New York Times. They said that Kyle Chapman, the real name for Based Stickman, told people to bring weapons to Portland, when in fact, he told people NOT to. Furthermore, the New York Times insisted on citing Southern Poverty Law Center which is an Anti-white hate group that parades around pretending to be saintly. There are a few more details here and there that they got wrong. Another detail I want to point out is how they painted the rally as if the group were mostly alt-right by the definition that I give in my last blog post when in fact most of our group was Jewish or Latino.
Finally, the Times also completely failed to discuss the purpose of that particular rally, which was to try to prevent Sarsour, who does not even have a bachelors degree from keynoting commencement for a graduate school in the CUNY system. The rally was unsuccessful and Sarsour did, in fact, use her platform to promote a pro-Muslim political agenda. Commencement key note speeches normally talk about how the graduates have made it and yet they are just beginning. The large percentage of Jews at the rally were there due to concerns in that Sarsour's political agenda involves speaking against a sliver of land that is the only Jewish nation on the planet. It is only place where Jews know they can go if they get kicked out of any other country. It is the only nation where Rosh Hashanah and Passover, are national holidays, instead of Christmas and Easter. Sarsour aligns herself with a group that wants to take this away from the Jews all the while claiming not to hate Jews.
